About us
Ian's Staircases is a family run specialist staircase manufacturer, based at The Treadmill, Railway Road, Isle of Sheppey, Kent, ME12 1PU.
We supply bespoke wooden and timber stairs to new build builders, loft conversion companies and those doing conversions and renovations. We also supply custom built wooden staircases to architects and surveyors overseeing projects and to the general public.
Our standard wooden staircases are specially manufactured to your requirements with Redwood strings and treads, Plywood risers. We never use MDF for the treads.
We can make single turn, double turn and triple turn stairs which can turn on landings with four tapered treads or with kites and winders resembling a "square sided" spiral staircase.
In addition to these we also specially manufacture open tread flights, cut string with Scotia return flights and cut string with bracketed return flights.
As one of Medway and Kent's leading stair makers and manufacturers, we specialise in creating beautiful bespoke wooden and timber stairs for homeowners, builders, architects and surveyors across the region.
We only use the finest softwood and timber materials, so you are guaranteed absolutely stunning and durable staircases to suit any requirements.
All floor cuts and trimmer cuts are done in the workshop and delivered with tapered treads or landing attached to strings wherever possible.
We can normally manufacture within three weeks of confirmation of order and can usually arrange delivery. We deliver to London/M25 area's twice weekly.
Based in Sheppey, we work for clients throughout Kent and London, twice weekly delivering to clients in Maidstone, Canterbury, Medway, Ashford, Tonbridge, Rainham, Gillingham, Rochester, Strood, Tunbridge Wells, Faversham, Orpington, Bromley and London.
